In Modeler I would like to scale a flat surface with an irregular shape until its area reaches 100 m2.

Is there a method or a tool or a plugin that is able to give me this kind of feedback while scaling?

Looks like this could work for you.

Its the same plugin found here: https://www.lightwave3d.com/assets/plugins/entry/areavolume/

Thanks, but unfortunately it seems to be compiled for SGI and I'm unable to compile this for Windows.
The other websites are down.

Also, https://www.lightwave3d.com/assets/plugins/entry/areavolume/ is pointing to a non-existing URL.

Once unzipped there is a arevol.p lightwave plugin file but it's only 32Bit so if you are using 64bit lightwave it won't install. Try installing it on the 32bit version of lightwave. Hope this helps.

Also there is a post here (Devin) seems to have the 64bit version maybe you could ask him for it. http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?140283-Plugin-to-calculate-object-s-volume

LWCAD also has a volume tool so you could try that if you have it. If not let me know and I might be able to help you out

UPDATE: After lots of searching I found the areavol.p 64Bit version and it works great. Here is where you can find it http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?93321-Measure-volume-plugin-for-x64 download from LightWolf post #11

Thanks,
