View Full Version : Scaling the menu

Is there a way to scale the menus in lightwave (independently) without having to scale the entire desktop?

I have a 27" cintiq and LW's buttons are tiny in its native resolution.

IIRC, you can change the font size to something that works better. So, 'font' might be a better search term in your hunt. Also, text-search the config files for 'font' or 'size' to see if you can find a parameter to alter.

Sorry for the lame 'help'.

Be aware that changing the font will likely result in truncating longer text which appears in the UI. The UI doesn't scale with it. This may be addressed in the next version. Until then, for my 27" 4K monitor, I chose a resolution slightly below 4K. Gets me most of the benefit without being painful. :)

For veterans, severe abbreviations are possible. But the big thing is to memorize the hotkeys. Thank dawg they're right there on the buttons.

Reading glasses?

Yeah. Went that route for a while. Interesting that now I've stopped using them, my close focus is improving all on its own. Sort of a Benjamin Button dynamic.
