View Full Version : Better triangulate tool..like blender beauty method?

Is there a better triangulation plugin for lightwave out there? I want the beauty method...so I could skip the process of exporting to blender do it there and send back to lightwave modeler.

neither cm polydivide, or the other cm divide tools or quad skin tools will be able to do this as I know of.

was messing with a shape from illustrator imported to lightwave as polygons, ..now lightwaves native triangulate method isnīt very nice..itīs in principle the same as shown in this image ..the first image where I have it set to clip method in blender..what I want is the beauty method triangulation as seen in the image below.

That triangulation is needed so once I merge trigons I can get a nice quad mesh..almost acceptable.
