View Full Version : When do I stop being a "Newbie"

I wanna change my tag...

Why am I still showing up as a Newbie Member?

I've installed enough patches, read enough forums, and troubleshooted enough to be "just like the pros".

Is it a message count? Am I lurking too much?

Would I move up faster by posting silly messages just like this?

it's the number of posts I think... not sure where the breakoff point is for newbie status... just post a lot and it'll go away eventually I think... I never pay attention to my status and don't think others do too much either... :)

Maybe I'm just too sensitive.

I think it's when you've been around long enough to accidentally click the User CP button and then bump into Edit Profile, but I'm not saying a thing, not one single thing.... ;)

Don't ever forget my friend, no matter what title you may have, you'll always be a newbie in this world of technology.

Or at least you should be. Once you're an expert, you've let yourself become obsolete!:p
You can quote me on that.

Thar she is!!

Why did I never see that before? I must have gone in there countless times.

Now that I have the power, I can't think of what I'd want it to say. That figures...

NOT Smoochyboochums! Not that there's anything wrong with that. :p

Thanks Tom.
