After adding the plugin v1.1 64bit to lightwave 2015.3 64bit I get an "Entry point not found" notice.

"The procedure entry point CreateFile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

I thought it may have been a problem with lw so I reinstalled, but same result. Is there a way to easily fix this?

I'm using windows 7. ... thanks for helping.

Sounds like you need to update your VCruntime files to 64 bit version. Just do a search for "vcruntime 64 bit" or you can go to the Microsoft site and find it although a search will get you there faster.

Basically the program was compiled for either Windows 8 or above, or earlier than Win 7 and does not have the correct ddl for your OS.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/142606

This MS article is old but the problem is the same. I updated the OS versions below.

CAUSE
The application is misinterpreting the operating system version and is trying to call a procedure in the Windows 8 or Windows 10 version of the Dynamic Link Library (DLL) that is unavailable in Windows 7 version.

Clicking OK, the only option, may or may not allow the application to continue.

RESOLUTION
Contact the application vendor for an updated version that runs under Windows 7.

Upgrading to Win 8 or 10 may solve the issue. I think MS is already dropping official support for Win 7.
I am using it as well.

Yeah I'm considering it too as I am still running Win 7 also but haven't had any issues that would need an upgrade yet.

Also get this error. But just click thru and L&M both work fine. My guess is that this is Newtek's fault. They should update Nevron to fix this. I do not plan to upgrade to Win10 any time soon.
