We are trying to convert some LW surfaces to Vray shaders. Figured out a couple...

Luminosity seems to relate to Self Illumination.

We have some LW surfaces with values ABOVE 100% - 120% etc. To me this seems like a basic function but I`m having trouble finding the corresponding setting in Vray.

Excuse my noobity in this area.

I believe VRAY has a light material that you can use as luminous polys. I don't remember if it went over 100%. I think it used clamp values. 1.0 = 100. This was using VRAY in Max.

You can use also output maps so in this way you can adjust RGB offset , RGB level , Output amount , Enable color correction etc. The same settings you can have inside bitmaps at the bottom end where it says output.
Many ways to do this kind of adjustments.
