I have a 2013 TrashCan Mac Pro with 32GB ram, a 1-TB flash boot drive, a bootable 1-TB system drive backup, and 8 TB of storage space (4TB redundant).

I want to try installing Windows for running LW 2015.3, via Bootcamp, or other methods.

I need advice on which app (Bootcamp, etc.) to use for installing Windows, whether I need to reformat my flash drive with a partition, if so how large that partition should be, and what version of Windows I should install, for best results running LW 2015.3 and onward. Plus anything else I should know.

Thanks for any sage advice. :+)

Using the OS X disk utility makes adding or removing a hard drive easy.
I am running Win 7 on my iMac and Win 8.1 on my MacBook Pro
I prefer 7 over 8.1, but Im not sure if you can run win 7 on a Mac Pro.
I just ordered a Mac Pro to speed up my work/renders in Lightwave and Maya.

Not an answer to your question, but something to consider, you can get trials of Parallels and VM Fusion, to run LW win in a virtual machine.
I installed Fusion trial a while back to install an old version of OSX, and it creates a self contained folder for the OS wherever you choose.
I had it on a separate drive, just to keep things clean.
