Does anyone else get a critical error when trying to chamfer as I am? Here is the video and my object. I want to cut a hole/add a cylinder. I am using 11.6.3.

This probably won't help, but ...

That same thing works fine here in 2015.3, Mac.

It also works perfectly in 11.6.3 here (also Mac).

I couldn't see if you had more than one point selected, because your video capture logo covers that part of the Modeler window ... was it just ONE point only? That's what my test has. -- If there are more points than one, merge those points, and chamfer "should" work fine.

Works fine for me in both 11.6.3 and 2015.3. I did run LWCad "Fix Polygons" and it found 4 problems fixed.

Ahh, I hadn't noticed you attached a test lwo ... I also downloaded this, made no changes to the file, and in 11.6.3, chamfer works fine here.

works here too 11.6.3 - 2015.3 on PC using your model, I'd try clearing your configs by renaming the folder so modeler will create new ones. They you can see if that fixed the problem if it doesn't then just rename you configs back to it's original name

Hope this helps

Thanks,
Jason

Good idea, jboudreau.

I set up "backup configs" in a separate folder within the LW app folder, with date-labeled folders, so I always have the latest configs backup. This has saved my bacon more than once, when configs go awry, for whatever reason ...

Thanks everyone. Clearing the configs worked.
