Alright, for a school project I'm creating a fight scene with Yoda, my friend, and myself. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any places that I can find with downloadable room/surrounding objects (ie: inside of a warehouse or something). I know that Lightwave was used on UT2003; is there any way to access those maps when animating? I just don't want a messed up backgrround for this battle, and I think creating a giant room would be kind of difficult... I'm a self-taught student here, and I'm new, so yeah.

Thanks to anyone with advice or help.

If you really don't want to make your own, the first thing I would do is check the internet for free models. I know there is a whole universe of star wars geeks like yourself (no offense intended) who do nothing but make star wars models. I've seen a few websites for them. Do a search on the web for free .lwobjects and star wars models.

Another alternative is to buy one off of a site like Turbosquid.com, but it'll probably be more then you want to pay.

Thirdly, and I really think the best way is to model your own. Check out this link: http://www.pazur.3d.pl/REF_Techniques_eng.htm

He made a great fight scene with a relatively simple scene and it looks awesome. Just read through some of the techniques, you might find something useful in there.

As far as looking for models on the net, here are a few helpful links:

These were just the first few off of a web search I did. I'm sure there are many more just like it out there. Good luck.
