If you've ever wanted to limit the "New Posts" to specific LightWave 3D forums rather than ALL the unrelated forums, just Bookmark this Limited LightWave 3D Link (http://forums.newtek.com/search.php?do=getnew&include=16,279,278,57,18,207,235,130,23,74,51,52,5 3,54,24,25,26,158,182,27,28,276,171,172,173,174,20 8,205,29,31,30,308,206,170&contenttype=vBForum_Post).

Here's my Blog Post (http://dreamlight.com/how-to-search-for-new-posts-in-specific-vbulletin-forums-like-lightwave-3d/) with more information.

Now at markers. Thanks!!

No problem! It always frustrated me that I had to wade through many posts for things I had no interest in such as products I didn't have. This way I could just include the LightWave 3D forums that I was interested in.

So... we have been there.

There seems to be some hacks around but maybe not supported.
If you want to filter forums the best way I think it's to make a bookmark with the code:

This will exclude forums 11 22 33 and 44. Just edit it with the intended forums to exclude.
I went ahead (kind of regret it :D) and made a link excluding most forums without the slightest LW relation.

http://forums.newtek.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=229,178,225,183,184,263,294,283,222,223,23 1,259,212,213,19,34,35,36,37,38,175,155,41,42,40,7 5,112,245,246,247,103,104,106,131,105,109,107,128, 108,46,47,48,49,82,83,84,85

Or in a more cleaner way... click http://sg.alcoholhelpcenter.net/Support/Images/newfolder.gif (http://forums.newtek.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=229,178,225,183,184,263,294,283,222,223,23 1,259,212,213,19,34,35,36,37,38,175,155,41,42,40,7 5,112,245,246,247,103,104,106,131,105,109,107,128, 108,46,47,48,49,82,83,84,85)

Search Filter Options on top looks ugly, but... it works :D

Anyway, would be cool if the Ignore List also took forums in.
Would be nice if it was a forum option though.

No problem. I'm glad it helped.

I must have missed that post. I just used include instead so that I could specifically list the forums I wanted, rather than excluded. Either way will work of course though.
