View Full Version : can lw read and export fbx files with cameras?

Someone Im working with needs to see the 'cameras'
in his fbx files after he sends me the fbx models..
I open the models ,with textures in modeler save as lwo..
(cant see textures if i open fbx model in layout..)
open in layout .
Now,if i then export fbx from layout,will it retain
the original 'cameras' info?..i'm thinking not.
anyone know ?

They would have to export the entire scene...not just the model as fbx. And then you'd have to be working with their fbx scene. Not just slinging the model back and forth.

a maya friend suggests..
'If the camera is fixed copying the parameters by hand should
give you the exact same projection transformation.'
..the camera is fixed..so maybe i could test that.
