View Full Version : DRAG NET/POINT RADIAL not working on Curves/Splines? | Falloff modes

I'd like to use DRAG NET to adjust a Curve's points using POINT RADIAL Falloff, but it doesn't seem to work at all.

Is this correct?

LINEAR Falloff functions, but it's not quite what I'd like: I want the influence of the tool to fall off gradually the greater the distance along the spline between points. This is different (of course) than simple spacial distance, e.g. if the spline doubles back on itself, two points could be close in space, but quite "far" from each other as measured along the spline.

(CODERS: If the tool automagically and invisibly applied an expanding gradated weight map each time the user addressed a new point, and the moves were (invisibly) using a Weight Map Falloff, that would be one way to implement this function.)

Should this be a Feature Request?

Were you selecting any points or were they all deselected?

all deselected

seem to recall that weird things can happen if an endomorph is active though
