hi all,

model: 3 days
render: 4h 41m ( not radiosity)
antiali. High

but I created own globall ill. with 13 lights.

Very nice work. Would you mind posting a wireframe of it? A couple criticisms though. The rims look a little plastic-like. The tire might need a bit more specularity. They look a little spongy. Just some thoughts. Otherwise, it looks great.

Hi muzzy !

Overall model is very well modeled and rendered. But for better render you need better AA level. Just use Mediaum Enhanced AA and it will be much better than this high AA with tolerance like now (i see jaggy edges).

On modeling wise i see that spokes aren't connected to rims, they look like just put in rims which isn't quite right. Also material for spokes/rims need to be more reflective and you don't have air valves :). Also i think you have one unweld point in back are near the tail lights :).

Keep the good work and you need just a few small corrections to get very nice car model.

P.S. Give my best regards to Wesley (from 3d02.com :)).

hi Lewis,

thanks Le

which one is better? high AA or Medium Enhanced AA?

and I have some problem with lights:( I think it s not a realistic render!

And I welded that point. Now my model is perfect!

HI again !

I'm glad you welded that point :).

You can use normal AA (not enhanced) but turn off adaptive sampling. That's just tolerance and it's by default set to 0.1 so it doesn't fix all AA problems. Aslo normal AA works just for edges and Enhanced AA works for all pixels which is normaly slower but in my experiance results with Enhanced AA are much better and i never use more than medium enhanced AA even if renders are 3500*2500 pixels.

coool!maybe just the tires need geometry, bumps,no tire is that smooth, on the rain the car would slide like crazy:)
