Mark Warner uses "Absolute Measure" to measure the length of a spline? ????

I guess this is why you have to read the dox, because that name sure doesn't denote TO ME the concept of measuring ALONG a LWO entity.

(EDIT: #aflw: "Absolute Measure" isn't in the 2015 dox-- is it a third party plugin? I found it mentioned in this thread...

I hope it is native-- this is the kind of thing that should be native.)

It is native. The Lscript is called AbsoluteMeasure.ls. (<LWlocation>\support\plugins\scripts\LScript\model)

OK, I'm back , and ABSOLUTE MEASURE doesn't seem to measure along the spline: the measure I'm getting along a coiled curve is the same as the straight-line measurement.

2015.3, W7.
EDIT: Ahhh, the lack of DOX. To make this work, you have to select ALL the points making up the curve, not just the end points. @[email protected] :bangwall:

A better name would be "Cumulative Measure". :grumpy:
