Hi,

scratching my head about keeping the 90 degree edges in the object (see image). Is it possible at all with subd?

Found a lot of info about "closed" subd geometry, but this specific case is a brain blocker for me :bangwall:

You should add a row of edge (using bandsaw for example) above the curved edges and the distance between two should be very low ( almost coinciding).

Sorry to bother you at all,
just found out that the stabilizing edge was missing (I was really sitting on my brain).
