The Weight Map Falloff mode is, my experience, rarely discussed.

But you can do cool things with it. For instance, making this spiral was a piece of cake using ROTATE with Weight Map falloff.

I was rather surprised when, playing around with this, I discovered (again) that BEND doesn't have ANY Falloff whatsoever. !?!?!? :mad:

That's not FALLOFF, that's RANGE. And yes, it's different.

It is a falloff.
A simple, single direction, linear falloff with no sliders to adjust ramp curvature.
Range= influence distance: either Auto or what you draw out with rmb.... like other tools.
