thank you,

Texture Falloff and Surface Clip maps are nice too...

many small good fixes, but no new Modeler tools, and no interactive tools

hope to see it added in LW2016

Iv'e been using LW for the last 5 months solid in production... it's not an earth shattering upgrade compared to 11 for features but the small little touches you didn't notice for weeks are the best kind of surprises.

I agree, there are a lot of workflow changes that have been made!

Like this one in 2015!

Surface Editor Enhancements
If you have a complex scene with many objects with many surfaces, it can take a long time to
navigate to the surface you need. Just as a little workflow aid, we have added the ability to rightclick
on a scene element and Expand all Surfaces.

when the very first release of 2015 came out, I just couldnt stand the crashes when evaluating it, I just installed the 2015.2 version the other day..and now I can try it out a bit more without the bugs.

Previously I wanted to ty out the texture falloff, but got constant crashes before.. I can now see it works as it should I think, and becuase of the bugs before..I wasn´t able to chech procedural falloff, it seems to work very much the same as normal displacement, if you size it with selection mode set to selection, so for rock stuff that is nice in modeler.

no bugs with bone ragdolls either, so hopefully they have crushed quite a lot of bugs this time.

Thanks for the testing, Erikals. Anything that enhances workflow is very welcome, esp in LW! Unfortunately, double clicking to re select doesn't work for me, on the Mac.

Hi erikals

Just wanted to let you know that the cut tool in 2015 is a great additiong. You can now interactively move the cuts along multiple selections and multiple objects. Moving the cuts did not work in lightwave 11.6.3f
so not sure why this featurue was not mentioned by the lightwave team.

Thanks,
Jason
