What a great idea! The only downside is that they are only offering it thru Siggraph week. 90 days is plenty to learn and do a small project for a complete newbie. And someone with some 3D experience could almost make a complete movie! :) Once the user goes that far they pretty much have to buy a license!! Nice backdoor sales strategy if you ask me.

Yes..this is a good offer and well done, some marketing boost now with accompanying tutorial that is good, if one looks for faults..and as snostrap says, I think it could serve the marketing a bit better if they had out a bit longer..but of course, they canīt give it away free for a too long time.

They need to compete with the autodesk free student and free school versions though, so itīs a start.
