LightWave 8 UK Preview (http://www.unlimited.com/lightwave8/)

I've just pre-booked this event, are any other UK based LightWavers attending?

Be good to meet up with some of you, not to mention seeing the latest incarnation of the what looks to be an awesome update!

Cheers
Matt

I won't be able to attend this, but I will defiantly be going to Lee's Lightwave Tour when he comes back to London in February.

I would liked to have gone too and seen LW8, plus the faces behind the names here. Shame about that deadline I have to meet for the 9th though.

I'm very tempted - that 10% discount will come in handy too ;) Which session are you going to Matt? AM or PM?

Hehe! Don Bluth rocks! :)

I'm definately going to the PM session, shame some of you can't make it! I going to meet other wavers, as well as seeing LW8 in the flesh. I wanna see this interface up close and personal!!

Let us know all the details once you're back and if you can take some photos ;)

Unfortunately I can't go either.

Take a huge USB memory stick and then distract the demo guy/gal ;)

If there's anything different I'll let you know, as for photos - it's a shame I've not bought a digital camera yet! I don't think a disposable will do it justice!

If you get a chance, please ask them what has been updated on the rendering and lighting side (thinking area lights and radiosity here). Thanks.
