Doing some R&D for a long-term personal project. Modo supports multi-layered Photoshop files. Immensely useful for keeping character textures organized and making global changes (ie. I can open the file in photoshop, make adjustments, and reload in Modo)

Does anyone know if Lightwave supports any multi-layered format for texturing? Or if there are any 3rd party options available?

Thanks!

Hmmm. After quite a bit of searching and experimentation, I don't think so. I was hoping LW might be able to import Tiff image layers as a sequence (because LW detects it as a sequence) but no luck.

I could possibly set up a sequence in After Effects and point LW to particular frames within the sequence.

I've never seen or heard of this capability. Would be nice to have tho.
