workflow process might be of interest, though it is cinema4d software based mostly...in conjunction with zbrush, krakatoa,thinking particles, turbulenceFD, worldmachine.

Much of the process could most certainly be adapted to work in a Lightwave environment, though questionable how well Lightwave would handle the terrain data at that resolution, we do have lod tools too.


The tough part seem to have been managing the landscape at such high resolution...
