Thank you, I looked at that and I don't think it use lightwave. I think ithe one I am looking for was sold by Kurv Studios. But that was along time ago.

Kurv was heavily weighted towards LightWave, fwiw.

There's a book out there that shows you how to make an animated short using Blender: I recommend it because of all the prep steps, valid for ANY process, not just CGI/Blender.

"Animating With Blender" is the title.

CGI Short Filmmaking: The Creation of Ghost Warrior does in fact use LW. It uses an older version of LW, but a lot of the info inside is still relevant.

The book does not hold your hand and walk you through making a movie though, if that's what you thought.

In addition to "Animating With Blender", Roland Hess did an different take/updated version called "Blender Production: Creating Short Animations from Start to Finish". Again, the stuff in the first part of the book is relevant to any production with any software, but then he gets into Blender specific stuff.

As far as I can remember, Kurv never released any books. I always saw only video releases from them, but I have been wrong in the past! :D

I gotta say: those Blender Foundation books are REALLY nice. We should be so fortunate-- they look like a metric ton of work.

How about this one....this is the guy who created the Renderer SNUB Launcher (originally for Mac, but now on Windows also).

I bought this a few years ago.
It's very informative.
