Hi,

GOt a mystery here,

WHen i have a large light source it doesn't show up
but when i dim the lights

my floor which has reflection on shows up with some hot white pixels

shows up more when rendered with radiosity.

I pretty much solved it with lowering the reflection to 25% a quarter of its original white pixel making value.

anyone come across hot white pixels in their renders - know what causes that?
i tried a bunch of settings to see if it would go away - even 30 AA did not cure it.

thanks

Try to set "limit dynamic range" in your render settings. Usually these are pixels with values over 100%. That's the quick and dirty solution.

looks like that was the answer as well - solved it pretty well (some stray whites still) but i bumped the reflect back to 100% so
worked out pretty good thanks for the tip!!

Hi,
you can control "limit dynamic range" go to Effects>Processing...
Usually it is good put Min 0.0 and Max 2.0

Try!;)

Nice, I put my settings the same as yours and that works very well.
