Hi,

I want to render a few isometric buildings with transparent shadows. Therefore I need a way to render the Building and the shadow, but not the ground, where the shadow is falling onto. Is there any trick or script/plugin for this job?

Bake the shadows (surface baking camera) and use an alpha channel when mapping it back onto the plane of the ground it's cast on? Like I imagine you want to superimpose the building with it's shadow onto something else.

You could try the shadow catcher node.
