Dear all,

Are there any plans for a native WebRTC support for Tricaster? For integrating external interviews in a nice and easy way.
Maybe as a plugin or even integrated in the next version of the "Tricaster Advanced Edition"?

Sales Department from new "Talkshow" device might not like it, but this would be an awesome feature.
(As we use Tricaster not stationary but travel to various events we pretty much dislike bringing more hardware devices with us...)

Best regards,
Matthias

I'm not sure if this would be something you want added directly into the TriCaster or would be better as an external system, like TalkShow. I would think you would want something similar, get the call setup and it is a source into the TriCaster like any other.

I will mention that my white paper called 'Skype Integration with TriCaster' can be used to interface with WebRTC systems today by using an external system.

Lastly, I will also mention that Skype is adding WebRTC support. When this becomes available you can have your remove callers use a WebRTC browser to call into TalkShow (along with the current Skype client which is already available for free on just about every OS and device on the planet).

FYI, status of WebRTC development in web browsers.
