Edit Edges w/ Symmetry

Is the "Edit Edges" tool supposed to work with symmetry? It doesn't in my version of LW 2015. That's not excusable imo. :-/

Is this possibly one of those situs where refreshed/regenerated config files suddenly cause it to start working again? Or did you already try that?

The configs have screwed things up many times but it would appear this is a software design problem, just like with the knife and slice tools. Many of these tools don't work with symmetry. I thought that the newer modeling tools would have a symmetry option.
