Hi Guys

I have a Dell M6800 Laptop Workstation and when I activate Optimus technology (This lets me use either the Intel HD 4600 GPU or my Nvidia K5100M GPU.)

The problem is when I open up lightwave layout it keeps using the Intel 4600 GPU instead of the K5100M GPU even when I tell layout to use the K5100M

I tried the Octane Demo and it used the K5100M card which leaves the Intel 4600 available for other software, lightwave window panels etc. It's great because you get very fast performance since Octane is only using the K5100M gpu leaving the 4600 for everything else.

The problem is though when I'm not using octane lightwave uses the Intel 4600 card which gives horrible 3D OpenGL performance compared to the K5100M GPU.

How can I get lightwave to use the Nvidia GPU when not using Octane because when using the K5100M gpu for lightwave opengl performance is extremely fast not so with the intel 4600 gpu?

Thanks for any help you can give me on this
