Hello,

maybe you can advise me is there a way how to trigger a clip or playlist on 3play 440 to start playing after "NET1" button is pressed on Tricaster 455 (or Tricaster TC850)? If yes - how exactly?

Is this kind of "autoplay" possible if video feed from 3play is coming through network connection or if video feed is coming as one from BNC inputs?

Thank you a lot! :help:

More recent TriCaster systems support this via macro commands for start, stop, store and recall clips using the AirSend connection to 3Play. I don't have a Rev. 5 system handy just now, but if memory serves, macros were introduced later. :(

May you Steve please assist me on this with practical details? OK, I saw macros in manual but not sure how exactly to define macro on 3play 440 to listen for "NET1" button on Tricaster and then start to play a clip/playlist? Any real, practical, on-field example available?

Your TriCaster has to be a 410, 460, 860, 8000 for this to work. The TriCaster macro system is used to perform the trigger to tell the 3PLAY to perform actions like play, stop or speed changes.

TY Kane; so no way to have autoplay on 3play 440 without having pro Tricaster model like 860?

The 'smart ecosystem' features to have TC and 3P communicate with each other require a current model TriCaster (like the 860). TriCaster x55 and x50 models can connect to 3PLAY to receive video/audio but cannot send commands to them.
