View Full Version : Can LW be made to run in full screen over top of task bar in Windows 8.1 ?

I can't seem to find a way to run LW in full screen mode that covers over the task bar on my new Windows 8.1 machine. I have no problem doing it with my earlier Windows Vista OS machine. Is it possible.

Having the lower Task Bar visible is quite distracting to my workflow.

I don't want to use Auto Hide either. It's too easy to inadvertently have it popping up!

Help would be appreciated.

yea thats half way trough... what is annoying is auto pop up trigger if you come close to the bottom of screen... and usually thats an area of some very important buttons :)

back in XP days.. you were able to hide task bar and call it back with windows key pressed... i want that back!

no, actually the method above fixes it, but hopefully NT could make a way to over-ride it by default in the future...

I like the "Toggle Window Fullscreen" option in Blender. I'd love to have that option in LightWave as well.
