Is there a program out there that can connect 3d dance moves to live music? The output has to be a silhouette dancer projected inside a club.

It has to be possible..

Any idea's?
Thanks in advance,

Sound a bit too unspecific on what you want...input output? what should move to what or should the moves drive music?

You can trigger events in LightWave by the volume of the music...

i think there is a program...its called "connect 3d dancer to live music" unfortunately it's in closed beta for illuminati members only :)

Seriously though...is this a live output...as in realtime? Sounds more in the arena of unreal or unity....and as far as responding to the music...you could have dance animations speed timed to the beat of the music, and you could have several hand animations or mocap for different styles of songs and then triggered by a DJ/operator.
Motionbuilder can do live mocap streamed to a renderer (unreal, unity etc) then you could have a real dancer.....a bit redundant though

If you are hoping for a procedural 3d dancer that is fully automated plug and play program...that may be hard to find
