Some things mentioned are a little above my comprehension, but their stand alone players have me wondering - does this mean creating a 3D scene entirely in your host app (like lightwave) and then using the standalone program to playback the scene file using the real time renderer for viewing in VR? Their suite of software sounds like this is the direction they're going.

An example of workflow would be to directly load up a finished lightwave (or maya or x) scene into the Octane VR software and play/render the scene (or scenes) in realtime in VR HMD?

Am I being naive thinking along this line?
