View Full Version : Flocking problems! Possible bug?

I'm running into a problem with the flocking path director type. I think it doesn't work like it should. The values Range, Weight and Strength don't seem to have any influence on the Flock. I'm I doing something wrong or is the way it works?

On an other shot I'm doing I'm using a raycast geo node. I'm want the flocking particles to align to the mesh. I connected the hit normal output to the desired upvector but that doesn't have ant effect.
I want my insects to land on geometry and when they do I want them to not penetrate the geo. Is this possible and how do I do that? I'm starting to think the bugs have infested my LW2015.2.
