Anyone have any tips or tricks for ArchViz UV Mapping? I have always (bad habbit maybe) just used planar or cubic type materials unless I needed a UV for some reason. We are looking at using Unreal for some potential walk through and of course all the surfaces will need UV maps.

I guess generically when you UV map things...
1. Do you UV map an entire object or does each surface get a map?
2. I am getting familiar with PLG UV mapping tools but what else helps?
3. Any other thoughts on UV Mapping for ArchViz type work?

Thanks.

Have you tried the native atlas mapping? Not that bad, especially for non-organic stuff.
And there is this auto-unwrapper now inside LW, you have to define the edges where the model will be sliced just like in PLG. No options otherwise. The problem
is with the Auto Unwrapper that it is good for organic stuff. For squares and precise angles maybe not so apt.

If you are modelling with LWCAD, it has good UV tools while you are building to provide the UVs you need.
