Anyone try the new DVCPro codec?

I've d/l'ed the demo, but haven't had time to install and try it yet. I'll report back if no one else does.

Thanks for new info and FYI:

I know this was mentioned many months ago, but there are free Matrox CODECs available that include DVCPro/Pro50; M-JPEG (max quality of about 18MB/sec); DV/DVCAM; and MPEG-2 I-frame. I just tried mixing some clips rendered with the Matrox DVC Pro50 CODEC with RTV clips in the VT3 Edit timeline. The green ready light is instantly available, at least for a cross fade.

The CODECs are under the Support section for the Matrox DigiSuite product.

One of my clients bought this, and can't seem to get it to show up as a codec option in VT3 render options.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Thanks in advance
