Good Morning,

When I work I use a separate content Directory for each project. In some cases I am moving between projects, using a problem solved in one project in another, for instance.

Does anyone know of a way to display the current content directory in the Layout interface. It would make things so much simpler.

Like in After Effects where you can select an item and ask it to display it's location in the file directory. I don't know of a way to do it in LW.

Probably the easiest way is to go to load a new scene and take note of the path (don't actually load the scene! :)).

If I understand what you are asking, the Set Content Directory command in the menu opens the dialogue with the current Content Directory selected in the tree in the Browse For Folder window. If you mean: "display the current content directory" contents, no.

The Edit>Recent Content Directories shows the current content directory at the top of the list. Or, you could use this LScript:

@warnings
@name ShowContentDir

generic
{
info(getdir(CONTENTDIR));
}
