...currently working on a rather complex set-up with soft-bodies in Bullet.

The system is rather slow, to say the least...

Seems like the system is not using the 12-cores on my system, is bullet not multi-threaded in LightWave?

The most current Bullet library is 2.83 which is where we got constraints in 2015 but is not multithreaded. Not a limit of Lightwave. When the official Bullet 3.0 SDK comes out they said that there will be multithread support. I am sure when it is released Lightwave will update it. Also I think 3.0 will allow GPU acceleration through OpenCL which means it will work on any video card.

Ok, good to know it's on the road map! Looking forward to HW-accel and mt-support!
