Hey all. I know Rounder doesn't like to round a mesh with holes. I'm considering getting LWCAD, but I would like to know how it handles rounding an open mesh.

What do you guys and gals think.

Hey TrueSongMedia

If that's what you mean, no problem! LWCAD MassRounder really rocks. If you have a geometry and want to see it rounded in LWCAD you can post it here.

Cheers, Marander

Edit: Trying the same with LW Rounder:

Edit 2: Another example with a booleaned object using LWCAD MassRounder:

Trying the same with LW Rounder results in ugly geo (maybe it's possible somehow but LWCAD is very easy and reliable where Rounder crashes a lot)

Edit 3: Another example with LWCAD MassRounder:

Edit 4: Using 2D Primitives with LWCAD MassRounder:

Thank you! This was very helpful! I just bought a license of LWCAD. It looks awesome.

Welcome! You will not regret it, it's a huge added value for the Modeler. Can't wait for LWCAD 5...
