I need help with an issue I have encountered a few times now. I have set up a scene with an explosion using the FX_Linker feature to attach FX_Emitters to other FX_Emitters so that my particles are emitting particles. Then when I save the scene and re-open it the next day to work on it some more, my second level of emitters are gone. The particles are still there, but when I open the object properties for the particles they indicate that 0 particles are being emitted. I have tried all I can think of to make them work again but no luck. Has anybody encountered this problem and is there a fix?

not sure if this is the answer to your problem, but under the scene tab/FX properties have you tried saving the motion?
