View Full Version : Fog rendering inaccurately with VPR in LW2015 on Mac OS

Get skipped lines, looks like low res TV, happens in all fog modes, whatever the camera, whether in fas or full mode but renders out ok. Is there a thread on this already, has anyone reported it, thanks for any response

To answer my own question – it appears that just about any procedural texture applied to any fog mode in LW2015 will result in banding in the VPR display, this was not true of LW11+

Definitely report this one! See if they can fix it for whatever the next release is!

I can confirm that it also happened with my now expired 2015 trial now going discovery. with pc windows 7 64 bit.
My lw 11.6.3 64 bit works okay though.

Check Draft mode on, and off.
Check with multi-threading 1, and multi-threading 2,4,8,
are there differences?

That actually sounded like a plausible cause but no it did not improve the situation, I have already logged it as abut anyway but thanks for the suggestion
