View Full Version : Fun sofware

I have Lightwave 2015.1 and get a great deal of pleasure using it.
I also like to aquire plugins and enjoy testing out and experimenting with them.
I find that some plugins are great fun to use and put a smile on my face because of what they do
and the way they do it.
My latest plugin, which i got from the plugins section, is the Newtonian plugin.
Did not seem to do that much to begin with but then i instanced the main object
and just for the hell of it i also added the Flocking feature to and it all works together.
Spent a few hours playing about and having fun with this set up.

The point of mentioning all this is to simply ask you all and see if any of you also have a particular LW plugin
or even another software programme [free or commercial] that puts a smile on your face when you use it.
I thought this would be a novel way to find out about other software as im in a position to be able to afford
to buy some extra sofware and would consider any that you care to mention.
Thanks for info in reply.

I love using sasquatch and g2 with lightwave 9.6 (they are both from Worley Labs) and I am really happy with them.
Sasquatch is great for hair, and g2 for skin texturing.
I also have creature creator, a great plugin for lightwave 5.6, which lets you create figures in modeler.
I really love these !!!

Thanks erikals for links.
Lots to explore here.

Hi rednova.
Thanks for reminding me about Worley labs and there Sasquatch plugin.
Never been really happy with Lightwaves hair feature so will visit there site.
Will also do a search for creature creator.

Looking foreward to any other software/plugins suggested.
Your suggestions may also be of interest to others so the more there are the better.
Thanks for response so far. KEN.
