Hi,

Since you guys are so amazing in implementing the GPU in LW. Look at what the new Physx Flex library can do?

Lightwave has always been great on the GPU with Bullet Physics. It would be nice If we could see it more expanded to advanced things. I love LW and do like to use overcomplicated VFX software. If I could do everything I dreamed of in my favorite 3D package, that would be nice.:):)

Actually, I dont think Bullet physics use the GPU at all.

That you are probably right about, though I think it is on the horizon for the open source Bullet engine, with initial beta´s or something.

It doesn't. And mostly it only uses one thread on your CPU.

Hopefully the thread starter was being sarcastic... ;-)

Bullet v3 will use GPU...it's v3's motivating feature.

Yes. It's easy to see the speedups in doing physics calculations on the GPU when looking at Nvidia's PhysX.

You can see Jascha's Results on GPU usuage on ceratin Nvida GFX Cards
on Turbulence's Manual pages. They although not right up to-date(Titans)
they make interesting reading for us GPU-LW3DG wishers!
