View Full Version : Batch Move Transparency To ClipMap

I added this layout generic lscript,
"Batch Move Transparency To ClipMap.ls"
for LightWave3D 2015.1+

-Batch Move Transparency Texture Layer with UVMapped Image To ClipMap Texture Layer,
then destroy the Transparency Texture Layer.

-Starting with a list of surfaces in your scene including an transparency texture layer
with an uv mapped image.

-Select surfaces and go.

-Do no use with multi transparency texture layers.

-Mainly interesting for converting a large library of trees with leaf texture.

-Thanks to LW Dev for the last fix in 2015 update 1 in the LWCommand and Lscript,
it doesn't work in 2015.

jay3d --- Just curious, was "seize," as opposed to "cease," intentional? 'Cuz I suppose that could work, too, in a weird way.

Happy Holidays to you and everyone else, BTW

"Seize" to bring more action to the statement :D

YES! I was happy about clip maps now being stored in the object, but hadn't gotten/thought far enough into the future to realize what a tedious pain it will be to convert everything. Seriously cool. Time for a donation (http://dpont.pagesperso-orange.fr/main_en.htm). Thanks Denis.

EDIT: Happy Christmas, Denis. Should be enough for a few drinks, if not a full dinner for two.
