View Full Version : IK/FK Blend w/ pole vector

Hi guys,

I am trying to animate someone elses rig. Its a human with IK arms (looks like a genoma rig). I want to control the arms without IK for a period (while the character runs and the arms swing) but when I turn the FK/IK blend slider to 100 so that it is all FK, the arm's pole vector still points to the arm goal so although the arm stops bending, it does not stop responding to the arm goal. Is there a slider for this as well that I am unaware of? Or a ON/OFF switch that can be animated?

You need to find the IKplane item... turn off unaffected by IK of descendants for it, and on for its parent.
