any chance to get that neat UI color scheme as a separate download for mac users? ;-)
Here is the color scheme for my Modo styled interface color.
*Modelers viewport background color is edited in Modelers Display Panel.
**Both Layout and Modeler utilize "Splash" colors...so click on one of the "Splash" buttons and choose the corresponding swatch I've attached.
Have fun!

A lot of 2 point polygons in your gizmo ;]

A lot of 2 point polygons in your gizmo ;]I don't think that is Brent's doing, the standard gizmo is loaded with 432 of them. I thought it had something to do to make the gizmo work within Modeler, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Glad you guys like the color scheme and gizmo, sharing is caring :)

Is there a way to apply this scheme automatically? I have a bunch of workstations to apply this.

Funny,
my fiddeling with colors nearly looks like yours brent3d (not yet finished Layouts extra panels though). But I found a problem with lighter colors in Modeler's background. The point cursor is very difficult to see on highres monitors (2560 x 1440 on 27"). I sent a request to support asking for a feature to make the cursor bigger. I don't know if it will be implemented. If somebody knows a solution for this, please let me know.
The attached images are more or less of the original resolution of my monitor. If you watch it on a monitor with the same resolution at 100% you should see the same like me. Or you can downscale it to your monitor's resolution to get an impression (and yes, in each image there is really a point cursor - try to find it :-)

Another problem is the overly text of the new Modeler tools. For me it is unreadable. I already changed my Windows text scaling to 114 dpi. This helped with the small text on the buttons (but now some entries are cut at the end) but it does not affect the overly at all.

The color values are stored in the LWM2015-64.CFG for Modeler and LW2015-64.CFG for Layout. They also appear in the LWHUB2015-64.CFG but I only edited the Modeler and Layout CFG, so I am not sure what role the HUB CFG plays. If you copy the values below to an existing CFG (replacing the entries already there) you get the colors without the need to go into the GUI. For some reason (I think it is because I have independence active for one viewport), the viewport color does not appear in the cfg. So that one I edit in [Display Options] - [Layout] - [Background Color]. I my case 141 143 149 (I want it lighter, but then the mouse cursor is even more invisible).

The UI scheme used to be only in the Hub config file. In the latest versions, since 11.6 I believe, they were moved to Layout and Modeler configs. AFAIK, no color setting lines appear in the Hub config anymore.

The color values are stored in the LWM2015-64.CFG for Modeler and LW2015-64.CFG for Layout.

Right you are Madno. When it comes to Modeler's Viewport Background I go with a darker grey now, identical to Modo's Sculpt viewport background (Red 061, Green 164, Blue 069) which I find yields the best contrasts for my eyes. Both PMG Messiah and 3D Coat also have this color scheme built into them, which why I chose to make them all identical. So here is an image of the *.lwo friendly apps and their Ui's (Yes I totally customized my Modo layout to be more of a hyper version of LW Modeler's, works more efficient that way ;))

Is there a way to apply this scheme automatically? I have a bunch of workstations to apply this.

Copying into CFGs can get a little confusing, so in a lab environment I usually copy the CFGs of the customized LW to all remaining machines and just re-scan their plugins. Same goes for the studio machines. I usually copy all 3 CFGs Layout, Modeler, and the Hub to be safe. Also, remember to copy the color swatches for the "Splash" colors to the CFG's directories on each machine as well. Hope this helps.

"Export/Import UI colors" would make a dandy feature request. (Possibly implemented as a script?)

Or a mini-tutorial. Or a tidbit in the dox.

Yes, a simple Load/Save feature and have it save to it's own *.cfg so it's easily transported like the Keys and Menu settings.

So, umm... how do you use the gizmo LWO? I don't see any custom object field in the interface color or other property/option panel.
