Dear Friends:

This January I can afford to get a nice 100 dollars new cell phone (which I've been wanting to have for a long time).
I can also buy a nice jazz cam from Walmart (27 usd) for taking pics and video clips to upload online.
The cell phone I will definitely get, but my Mom told me that to make video clips for uploading online, I do not need
the jazz cam, and the cell phone would be good enough to make pics and video.
What do you think about this ?
The cell phone I will get...
is the jazz cam worth getting, or shall I just use the new cell phone ?
The kind of video clips I want to upload..is to make videos of lightwave tutorials, me using lightwave
and explaining how to use lightwave.
Is jazz cam worth getting, or will the cell phone be good enough ?
Thank you !!!

Well, doing video tutorials is more about screen capture software and there are free options for that out there.

If you're looking at producing high quality video, not sure what a camera at that price point is like even though technology continues to get cheaper. The majority of amateurish vids on YouTube are probably done with people's phones. Having a phone is more convenient. The age of people walking around with a phone, camcorder and digital still camera are over.
