View Full Version : Missing plugins and menu behavior-- change request?

Is it true that, if a plugin is missing, and it has been added to the Menu UI, that the application simply does not draw that menu box? :confused:

If that's true, I'd say it is not optimal*-- if there's a problem w/a given function, I'd rather it be highlighted rather than disappeared, since I might not notice it until I really really RILLY need it. No fun debugging the UI when under the gun.

I agree in principle, but suspect changing those behaviors probably requires "touching" too much code -- the "maturity cost-benefit" ratio would be unacceptable other than within the context of a major rewrite of the UX infrastructure.

Well,
1) it might not, and
2) if it's too much, consider this a forward-going aspirational goal.

Personally, I LIKE my UI to remain static, so I see the same and am constantly reminded of their existence. I certainly want to know if they go away.
