Okay so I'm making a model for a game and I before I export I have to triangulate the geometry via SHIFT+T. It looked great and everything was cool, then I was an idiot and saved the model like that. I open it today to make some changes and the geometry is all tri's, bleh. Anyone know of a way to reverse triangulation other than by hand via merge polys. I could re-model the object as it is simple, but if there is a quick way to save an hour of modeling work that would be great.

There are a couple of plugins that do this.

It was brought up-to-date by Denis.

You sir are awesome, it almost completely fixed everything with a single click. Just had to merge a couple of areas!

I've done the same as you. RATS! That's how I found the plugin.

I thought that Sensei had one that dis the same in his TrueArt Modeling Pack but I'm not locating it right now.

With the release of LW11.5 a Merge Triangles tool has been added. No need for 3rd party plugin. :)

When I do routines like this, UV map island per polygon is what I do. But in the case of accidental merge trigons it's the only way I see. Cheers
