View Full Version : Seemingly random slowdowns in Chronosculpt

I've just started using Chronosculpt, and am seeing some weird performance issues. It may run smooth when I import an Alembic, and play it back, but sometimes either switching to Smooth shaded, or sculpting something, will kill the frame rate (from 18-25fps, to 1-3fps). The frame rate may come back when switching to flat shaded again....but sometimes it works with Smooth shading too. I haven't really been able to identify what triggers this slowdown consitently.

I'm running Chronosculpt on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, with 48G RAM, 12 cores and Quadro K5000 GPU with 4GB RAM, which should be more than fast enough. Any ideas?
