Hi Folks,

Felt that this could use its own thread.

I just spent some time on the Vbulletin forums trying to figure this out when I came across this recent thread here:
Custom "New Posts" Search URL to use as a Bookmark (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?142422-Lightwave-community-moved&p=1389451&viewfull=1#post1389451)

My own custom URL/Bookmark is shorter since I only excluded the higher-traffic Tricaster, 3Play and SpeedEdit forums. I continue to edit it as I see posts appear in forums in which I have no interests. Mine is:
forums.newtek.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=178,184,222,255,263,283,285,229,294,338

It's quite easy to customize after adding it to your bookmark bar. When viewing the results, look at the forum name in the rightmost column and either hover over it to see the pop-up text or click on the forum name to go to that forum. There is a number that will prefix the forum name which can be added to the "exclude" section of the URL. So it's quite easy to customize it to include/exclude any forum.

Enjoy,
Steve
