I wonder if someone can help me with information of how I can flip. mirror or edit in Lightwave´s native UV tool?

lasso select the points in the UV window of the part you want to move or rotate and use the move and rotate tools to do what you want. To mirror, or flip, use the Transform UVs tool and put a negative value in the the U or Z value, there's also a Flip UVs tool but I never tried that.

I will start a separate post about another problem with creating one single UV-Map for an object! But thank you again djwaterman for being so kind helping me!

and remember: unweld is your best friend when doing uvs! before flipping uvs, etc always unweld!

So true. Without unweld UVs get messed up real bad.

A shame LW doesn't automatically unwell and then weld when doing UV editing :(
This should have been sorted long ago really.

Saying that... It does force a neat work flow! Especially for game assets

LW UV tools... hmm without PLG plugins LW would be useless for me in my job...

I have never used PLG. Didn't have it even installed. I quite like making UV by hand. It's fun.

I made three ships like this in last week.

PLG have also "Polygon Reduction Plugin" what preserve UV map during reduction. Extremely usefull for making LOD levels.

Nice model. Did the PLG tools do that atlas mapping/layout? Looks like a nice layout.
